Open Enrollment--What does it mean for you?
As Fall weather sets in, we know what that means. No, not PSLs (Pumpkin Spice Lattes). Open Enrollment time for healthcare. But what does that mean for you?
For those whose workplaces provide benefits, it means choosing the right plan for you and your family. For those depending on Medicare and Medicaid, it may mean choosing a new MCO that provides the benefits you need.
But what if you can’t receive Medicaid but still can’t afford the benefits provided by an employer? Or what if you work a few part-time jobs and aren’t offered benefits?
There’s still an open enrollment option for you right here in Hampton. HELP is closer than you think!
The HELP Clinics are currently accepting new medical and dental patients for our clinical programs. We provide low-cost dental visits, primary care medical services, and access to the medication you need to stay healthy. The requirements are simple--You must be a Hampton resident making less than 300% of the Federal Poverty Level and be uninsured or unable to afford employer-sponsored insurance. Not sure what that means or if you’d qualify? Check out our eligibility survey here.
Spending too much on healthcare and not receiving the benefits of quality, affordable care? We can help you reduce your healthcare costs!
Review your benefits. See what works for you. If your benefits options don’t benefit you, just remember that HELP is closer than you think. #HELPHampton
